What’s Your Favourite? – Motorsport Blog Competition

And it’s GO, GO, GO for another awesome Longlife Blog Competition! Remember the competition we ran back in April to find the UK’s favourite Car Blog? Well now we’re back with a bigger range of Motorsport Blogs and we want you guys to vote for your favourite.

For the winner, we are giving away a once in a lifetime opportunity to blast round the world famous Silverstone Circuit in Northamptonshire. You can attack some of the most famous and exciting corners in the Motorsport world, such as Copse, Maggots, and Brooklands. This truly is a wonderful prize where you can follow in the footsteps of your Motorsport heroes, whether it’s our home grown Brits of Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton, or maybe other stars like Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber. The prize will see the winner choose between a Ferrari, a Lamborghini, a Lotus, an Aston Martin, a Single Seater race car, or alternatively, a Rally Driving experience. You decide whichever experience you want! This is a great prize for you to keep for yourself, or even offer as a gift to a loved one, or if you are feeling extra generous, one of your valued readers!

Again we had a difficult time selecting just 30 out of the hundreds of great Motorsport Blogs we found on the web, and we now want you to help us narrow it down to a top ten, and of course help pick that crucial number 1. So who will be on the top step of our podium?

Within our list you will see some familiar names; however, the majority will currently be unknown to you. So why don’t you click on the blogs, have a look through the articles and pictures, and vote for your favourite!

Again you will be able to vote for your top 3, and once we have totted up all the votes we will announce the top ten, and the lucky winner, in two weeks time, when the chequered flag will fall on our competition, on Monday 15th August. So tell all your friends, send them the link, spread the word, tweet and facebook it, and get voting for your favourite Motorsport Blog so we can give the winner a thrilling experience at the Silverstone Circuit.

  4. Will Rook says:

Why is the James Allen on F1 blog not on there? He’s superb

  5. Linda Hardy says:

How about Girls Like F1 Too, some great blogs on there too!

  6. Scott says:

Have to echo Will’s thoughts – James Allen’s blog is very comprehensive and it’s a shame it has been omitted.

  7. Liz says:

I agree with the comments about Girls Like F1 Too & James Allen, but the competition very nice initiative!

  8. Matthew says:

    Thanks for all the comments!

It was difficult deciding which blogs to add to the competition, and although we did look at James Allen’s blog, as well as other high profile blogs, such as the Jake Humphrey’s and the Daily Mirrors, we decided to focus on more independent blogs with this particular poll.

We will however be running more in the future and will take all of your suggestions on board for our next one!

  9. Adam says:

One point, when’s the closing date on this poll!? Nice way to find other blogs on the web, good work :)

  10. Matthew says:

Hi Adam, thanks for the compliment! The closing date is actually in the blog post, just above the actual poll. The competition will end on the 15th August. :-)

  11. Adam says:

Oh yes, of course – missed that. By the way, I’d classify Joe’s blog as being one of the big ones up with James Allen and co – he’s great and deserves to win (as long as BadgerGP comes second!) ;)
